The Microbial Culturomics Center assists academic and research units in isolating, purifying, and cultivating target bacterial strains. It also provides sample preparation services required for efficacy verification to understand the role of microbiota in various conditions. This aims to achieve tangible benefits in translational medicine, accelerate the progress of gut microbiome research, unravel the mysteries of the interaction between gut microbiota and hosts, and move toward the goals of precision medicine and precision health.
The Microbial Culturomics Center integrates the resources and expertise related to microbial culturing from the Food Industry Research and Development Institute, National Taiwan University College of Medicine Affiliated Hospital, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. We offer customized services in the field of microbial culturing.
LinKou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Bioresource Collection and Research Center have jointly established the Taiwanese Human Microbiome Resource Bank to provide services for local microbial resources.
